How to Turning Ascended Crafting Materials into Gold in Guild Wars 2?

Ascended crafting materials, such as bloodstone dust, Dragonite ore, and imperial fragments, are essential items in Guild Wars 2 that can be used to create powerful items. However, many players often find themselves with an excess of these materials, which they need help with. Deleting them may seem like a quick solution, but it's important to remember that these materials can actually be used to make profitable items.

In this guide, we'll go over the different recipes available for each type of ascended material and how you can use them to earn gw2 gold on the trading post.

How to Turning Ascended Crafting Materials into Gold in Guild Wars 2?

Bloodstone Dust

Bloodstone dust is a material that can be obtained from various sources, such as gathering bloodstone crystals, opening chests, or airship cargo. If you have a character with 450 Huntsman, you can craft maintenance oils using this material. The most profitable of the three oils are the toxic maintenance oil, which is used by condition builds in high-end PvE.

To craft the toxic maintenance oil, you'll need 3 piles of crystalline dust, 100 piles of bloodstone dust, and 5 pristine toxic spores. You can buy the recipe on the trading post for a few silver. Pristine toxic spores can be obtained by salvaging items or buying them on the trading post. Each craft outputs five oils, which can be sold for a profit of 63 silver if you sell them instantly, or 80 silver if you list them.

Dragonite Ore

Dragonite ore is another ascended material that can be obtained from gathering winter berries, dragon crystal nodes, mistonium nodes, and various chests. A character with 450 Weaponsmithing can create magnanimous sharpening stones and toxic sharpening stones using this material. Like the toxic maintenance oil, these items require piles of crystalline dust and pristine toxic spores or fire orchid blooms.

Each craft of sharpening stones outputs five items, which can be sold for a profit similar to that of the toxic maintenance oil. However, it's important to note that it's not worth it to instal-buy all the ingredients, as you'll end up selling at a loss. Only make these items if you have the ingredients already in your bank or if you place buy orders instead of buying items outright.

Empyreal Fragment

Empyreal Fragment is the most profitable of the three ascended materials. They can be obtained by gathering fluoride crystals, Mistborn motes, primordial orchids, and various chests. A character with 450 Artificing can create toxic focusing crystals or magnanimous tuning crystals using this material. Once again, these items require piles of crystalline dust and pristine toxic spores or fire orchid blooms.

The toxic focusing crystal is particularly enticing to make, as it sells for a hefty price on the trading post. Even if you were to instal-buy the ingredients and instead-sell the crystals, you would still make a profit of 30 silver per craft. However, as with the other items, it's more profitable to use buy orders or have the materials on hand.

Crystalline Dust

Crystalline dust is used in all of the ascended crafting recipes mentioned above. It can be obtained by salvaging globs of ectoplasm. It's important to note that the salvaging rates vary depending on the quality of your salvage kit.nd it is often better to salvage Globs of Ectoplasm instead of buying the dust on the trading post. Salvaging a Rare or Exotic item with a good salvage kit can yield 1.5 to 1.8 piles of Crystalline Dust, depending on the quality of the kit.

Conclusion:

Instead of deleting your excess Ascended crafting materials, you can use them to make gold by crafting specific items and selling them on the trading post. Keep in mind that profits may vary depending on market conditions and material costs, so always check the current prices before crafting. We hope this guide has been helpful and that you can make some extra gold with your excess materials.
